My belly button got infected! My parents were so worried for me. Upon PD Dr Ong's referral, I went for my surgery with PD surgeon Dr Sim at Mount Elizabeth hospital. This is what is left of it...

Guess what!! When they called my daddy to make payment, I finally passed the test!!

I was down with blocked nose since yesterday night and fat daddy and mommy had a hard time handling me last night. They decided to bring me to see the doc today and doc prescribed me a nasal drop. I am much better now, less heaving.

Thoughts from Mommy Jan...

I feel melancholic today... In fact its for the past couple of days... The inability to think positive combined with physical agitation, insomnia and decreased appetite... Today marks Adele's 1 month old which also marks the day of my confinement nanny, YuXia's departure. Fat Daddy and me had to bring Adele back to Yishun home to pray and we dropped YuXia off at Khatib MRT at the same time. Can't help but my tears just flowed non-stop like a spoilt dam in the car until YuXia had to comfort me to take it easy and things will work out well... Can you believe I sobbed for almost 30mins (wonder where got so much tears in me?!) until I had to text a few friends for a comfort listening ear and to divert my attention about YuXia's depart...

After praying, we went islandwide to send full month cakes to colleagues and run some errands, with Adele in tow of course. What a challenging first time experience! She started screaming in the car and I shoved my 'milk-factory-equipment' in for instant relief. Phew!, she fell asleep after filling her tummy with milk. We came home in the afternoon and shifted the baby cot to our room. Our lives will change starting tonight, with Adele's constant waking up and feeding pangs but we will perserve. Coz we want to be part of Adele's every development in life...

My Full Month Celebration

We celebrated my full month today. Fat Daddy and Mommy brought me to great grandpa's place for prayers.

On the way back home, Fat Daddy had to stop over at SPC to top up his fuel and I woke up, making Mommy panicked! It was so humid, irritating me...!!

After an hour's rest, the caterer sent my whole family into a big rush. At 1130am, grandpa, Fat Daddy and the whole gang had to proceed to the full month party venue to do the setting up and preparation.

Uncle Kelvin was the first to reach. When I arrived then, Aunty Eileen and Aunty Lai Mun were also there. Fat Daddy came with all the stuff after parking the car. He was closely followed by Aunty Wei and Uncle Khai. Soon Uncle Vincent and Uncle Chris arrived.

Fat Daddy and Mommy apologised that they couldn't catch up with all friends present coz too many people around...

But I, Adele, thank you everyone for coming and the presents and angpows! Hope you enjoyed the day with me...
