Aunty Huiz and Uncle Eric came to visit me just now. But I was asleep so they only managed to catch a glance of my face-down position... See!, Aunty Huiz handmade a mousey ornament for me coz I was born in the year of the Rat! They gave me an angpow too. Great!, I can get Mummy to buy me more diapers in time to come! Such a cute mousey ya... Will ask Mummy and Fat Daddy to keep in glass showcase.

Daddy's Backache

Yesterday, fat daddy spent the whole evening playing with me. He sang and sang. Honestly, he needs to learn to hold my milk bottle better. I had a hard time drinking!! He got the inclination of my body wrong, my legs were dangling, my soft back was aching etc. Aiyah... Should let me rest on his tummy mah!!! After I have finished my bottle of milk, I am sure he got a backache himself... But kudos to him coz it was his first time feeding me... :)

Fat daddy finally went to TMC to have my birth certificate done today! So now I have an identity to myself. My chinese name is 王贞颖.

Popo and Gu-Po Visit

I did not have a good night's rest and this affected my appetite. Mummy had a hard time breastfeeding me with my fussing...
























Today, Popo and Gu-Po came to visit me (GongGong away in Israel for work). However, I was too tired, you can't expect me to smile right... Even though its the twelveth day of my birth and Aunty Yu Xia (confinement lady) cooked delicious vinegar pig trotters and rice wine chicken... Yawn...

Gonggong & Popo Visits

Today, my Gonggong & Popo visited me in the evening. I saw fat daddy dozing off on the sofa before taking this video of me.

Visit by Calista Jie Jie

Today, Calista Jiejie visited me with her parents Uncle Raymond and Aunty Joyce. So nice of them to visit me around 4pm. Jiejie was a little shy... If only I could take off my mittens to shake her hands :p

Appointment at TMC

Today I went for my medical appointment. I took a blood test. When the needle pricked, I was brave....but the pain soon came and tears came rolling down my cute cheeks, I let out a loud cry.....That was really painful!! I need some milk to calm me down.....MILK!! MILK!!!!

My first visitors

First things first

Wow!! There is sure a lot of things to do why I first arrive. Bebe, who help to deliver me, took me to measure my head, length (no I didn't make a mistake, its length at my age. If you are reading this, its called height. If you are not convinced, how can you measure height when I can't even stand?!) and weight.

For obvious reasons, I asked my fat daddy to choose some of the better poses.

Coming to this world - 08.09.2008

At 3am, I decided I must come out. I could have waited till 9am but why use induction when I can do it myself. From 3am to 3.45am, I began my campaign....knock, knock, can I come out?

Perhaps I did not make my intention known, somehow, my fat daddy was still snoring away while mommy was bearing the pain wondering what's going on.

By 4am, I heard the heavy footsteps of Shrek. Mommy washed up and got ready to go to TMC. Shrek was driving carefully, never really speeding.

We arrived at TMC around 5am and Mommy was lying down. At this point in time, I had a 2cm view of the environment outside. Mommy was given Enema.

As expected, Mommy opted for epidural at 7am. By around 8.15am, I could see the world better with a 4cm view. The waterworld around me came apart at 9.30am. And at 11am, I decided I could show a little of my hair to this world with my 7cm hole.

At noon, Mommy had her practice push. Around 12.30pm Dr Khi came. With a little help, I finally came to this world at 1.03pm 08 Sep 2008!!
